Tackling Hampton’s challenges in Concord.
Hampton is a great place to live, but we do have challenges: funding for public education, affordable housing, continued gun violence, and yes even rising sea levels to name but a few.
I was brought up to believe that one can be part of the problem or be part of the solution. I have chosen to be part of the solution.
With a strong moral compass and a business education acquired through 40 years in the hospitality industry, I am well equipped to represent you and other Hampton residents in addressing the issues that our state faces.
Hampton residents deserve effective representation.
About Scott.
I completed the ROTC program at Northeastern University and earned my BS in accounting/business administration. Upon graduation, I served in the Army for three years in Germany, bringing along my lovely wife, Sandy.
While in Germany I earned my MSBA from Boston University, and then I spent 40 years in hotel financial management, which also allowed us to travel the world.
Sandy and I have now been married for 55 years, which I think evidences my ability to see others’ perspectives. We are the proud parents of three adult children and many grandchildren.
We have called Hampton home for 12 years now. We love Hampton and New Hampshire.
I have enjoyed serving this community through nonprofits, a military organization, and on a municipal board. In 2017, I joined the Board of the Transportation Assistance for Seacoast Citizens (TASC) as Treasurer, later being elected President, while continuing as a volunteer driver. I have also volunteered with the Hampton Community Coalition.
I am an active member of the Hampton Area American Legion, Post 35.
I currently serve on the Hampton Budget Committee.
